Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent to the outside company that supplies that tool. The provider processes the input and returns its results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our own systems.

If you email us, the message may be kept long enough to review and answer it. We do not share it beyond our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Giles County case files remain with the courts, incident material with the originating police body, and statewide criminal-history information with Virginia State Police. The Virginia Code section 19.2-389 limits dissemination of official criminal-history information; nothing in this policy claims access beyond those rules. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
